Is anyone else noticing a connection between IBS flares and pelvic floor tension? I’ve started realizing that when my gut acts up, everything in my lower belly and pelvis kind of tightens without me meaning to. It’s like my body is stuck in “brace mode.”
I’ve been trying some gentle relaxation stuff to see if it helps. I came across Restore Your Core at one point and a couple of their ideas made sense, but nothing serious. Mostly just trying to get my body to chill a little.
Does anyone else deal with this? What helps you relax things when your IBS is flaring?
