Bubble-Like feeling in lower abdomen - anyone else?

One of our community members was discussing a symptom and they were wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar: "I don’t think my symptom seems to be very common but when I get really anxious, I feel a bubble on my lower left abdomen. I’m having a particularly tough time right now and it really feels like there’s a lump in that area. It can’t felt on the outside of my body, it a sensation of having a lump."

Has anyone else experienced anything like this, and if so, what was it and what did you do? Thanks!

  1. I think I get something like you describe.
Sometimes it feels like I have a stone inside me on the left lower bowel side. I don't have IBS C so it's not literally constipation or something. The feeling can be quite intense and then just gradually fade away, or be passed as wind.
In the mornings just after getting up, I regularly actually FEEL a moving lump inside me on the left. There's mild discomfort but not usually actual pain with it. I can actually watch it moving about under the skin.
And that is ALWAYS wind moving around to come out. Something warm on my tummy will almost always shift it so I pass out the wind. It does look a bit freaky but I'm used to it now. It happens most mornings, whether I'm having a flare up or not, It happens on even relatively "good" days.

So long as it isn't actually painful (i.e the wind gets badly trapped) I have kind of made friends with it! It is just the way I am now.
