  1. "Turns out husband made the decision he did because of being suicidal. Hoping with time he will have a clear headed mind and we can get back together. In the meantime, I'm living in a shelter cause I haven't found a home yet"

    1. Oh wow, I'm so sorry. It sounds like the situation is tough for both of you.. Do you know if he's sought help for this? Are you still keeping in contact? I hope that he'll be able to work through everything and find his way back to you. Sending hugs, Karina (team member)

    2. How is your search for a new home going? I really hope that you'll be able to have a place soon. All the best, Karina (team member)

  2. "I wish this was a horrible nightmare but the reality is my husband couldn't handle my health issues anymore."

    1. That's terrible, I'm so, so sorry. Your health issues are really not your fault. 🙁 Sending big hugs, Karina (team member)

    2. When we were saying our vows, I even jokingly emphasized the "in sickness and in health" part because of my multiple diseases. I get that it's not easy but I didn't think it was going to be what ended our marriage. I'm hoping with some time apart he will realize what we had together outweighed the bad. He's also going through a major depression so it's not helping matters.

    3. Oh, I can imagine how that made everything harder. I also went through a phase like this with my partner and it felt like I was alone in our relationship and with our kids at that time. He also started so resent my health issues a lot at that point, but it got better once he got better. I really, really hope that your husband will realize what he had with you. Karina (team member)

    4. I'm so so sorry to hear. We deserve to be loved and supported no matter what. That our personalities and heart outweigh any other obstacles. I hope you find that again. Life is messy and complicated and always keeps us on our toes. When one door closes, an even better one opens. We don't need judgement when we are already our own worst critics! Know you're not alone in this and this too shall pass. We're here for you ~ Sawyer (team member)

    5. Hey , I wanted to check in to see how you've been doing. Have you been able to move yet? How have you been feeling lately? We miss hearing from you, and really hope that you're doing okay! Karina (team member)

    6. Thank you. I have hope that this will all work out in the end. The darkness comes before the light.

I'm weirdly optimistic even though I am pretty much a pessimist.

    7. Thank you for checking in. Still unable to find a home so I am staying in a shelter now. Waiting to find out if I have been approved for a subsidized housing place but even then the move in date is until Nov 1. My IBS has had some days it super rages but overall I am very happy I haven't experienced a flare up. I have had to do TONS of selfcare, pretty much almost the entire day, but it's paid off.

    8. It's great that you're able to take care of yourself and avoid flares, especially in trying times like these. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll get approved and will be able to move into your own home in November! How is life at the shelter for you? Karina (team member)

  3. "It's been 21 days since my husband told me he wants to file for separation. It's been very hard on my IBS and my heart. Got in my application for welfare so I can apply for disability. "

    1. I'm so, so sorry, I can only imagine how hard this must be for you. 🙁 Is your dad still staying with you so you're not alone? Sending big hugs, Karina (team member)

    2. I'm so sorry. I hope your application goes through quickly and you're able to get some help. Wishing you a gentle and symptom-free day ~ Sawyer (team member)

    3. Yes, thankfully my Dad is still staying with me. His personality is a lot like my husband's & mine so we have been getting along great. Thank you for the hugs.

    4. Thank you so much Sawyer, I really appreciate that.

    5. I'm glad to hear that you're not alone and that you're getting along so well. Hopefully things will get easier for you soon. Wishing you all the best, Karina (team member)

    6. I wanted to check in to see how you've been doing. Were you able to talk to your husband since everything? Karina (team member)

    7. We have had two good talks. He has also been hounding me to move out, which is stress I don't need on top of everything else going on.

    8. I'm sorry about that, this must be so stressful. Were you able to work something out during your talks? Hugs, Karina (team member)

    9. Yes this is super stressful. No, we weren't able to work something out. He's gone back on what he said

    10. So sorry to hear that. I just hope that the whole situation will get a little bit easier for you soon. Hugs, Karina (team member)

    11. Do you have any news on the application yet? I hope you've been doing okay. Karina (team member)

    12. No news on the application yet. Going to check out a place next week. I'm hanging in there but feeling quite irritable most days.

    13. Sorry to hear that. I hope the place you're seeing next week will work out for you. Sending positive thoughts, Karina (team member)

    14. There were 19 other people viewing the place that day, not sure if I will be getting it. My Dad said he will move in with me if I can find a 2bdrm instead, there have been a lot more ads for those lately.

    15. That is so unbelievably kind if him. Looking after his child, even to this day! What a stellar dad. I hope you setting in and get on your feet soon. Know that you're not alone in this and we're here for. You've got this 🙌 ~ Sawyer (team member)

    16. Thank you. Unfortunately, I still haven't found a place to call home & actually am staying in a shelter as a result. Hoping I get approved for subsidized housing but won't be able to move in until Nov 1

    17. I'm sorry to hear that you still haven't found a new home. Hopefully, you'll get approved and be able to move in November! Sending lots of positive thoughts, Karina (team member)

    18. Hi , how have you been doing lately? I really hope that you have finally found a new home? Hugs, Karina (team member)

  4. "On Sunday my husband and I got into a fight. He packed a bag for his mom's and left. He came by today to pick up some more stuff and to tell me he considers us separated. I'm devastated and hoping he changes his mind and wants to try marriage counseling."

    1. I'm so, so sorry! I really hope that you will be able to work this out. 🙁 Maybe he just needs some time to cool off and you'll be able to talk about it in a couple of days? Sending hugs, Karina (team member)

    2. I really hope so. We have been together for 12yrs and married for 5. He's everything to me and I can't imagine my life without him. I hated having to spend a summer apart 9yrs ago, I can't imagine what it's going to be like now.

    3. I can only imagine how you're feeling. 🙁 Hopefully you'll be able to find a solution. Wishing you all the best, Karina (team member)

    4. I am so so sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is to fight for something, especially when it seems one sided. Everything will be okay. You deserve to be loved, appreciated, and understood with a patience and kindness that lasts a lifetime. The likes of which I hope you find yourself with, and soon! Counseling can be a great tool! My parents used it and they got through a lot of their communication issues. Please take care of yourself. You are important and matter! We're all here for you.

      Stay strong

      Sawyer (team member)

    5. Thank you. My IBS has been raging pretty bad. My Dad has come down to stay with me and assist me until I move close to where he lives to keep getting his assistance

    6. I'm sorry to hear! I know my IBS surely flares up pretty badly when I get stressed and anxious. Just a whole lot of pacing and breathing on my end. I'm really glad that he's looking out for you! I hope you start feeling better asap and taking steps toward it. You've got this 🙌 ~ Sawyer (team member)
