Questions on my symptoms if anyone has the same issues?

I everyone I’m kinda new to this whole thing, I had a bag gastro bug about 50 days ago and since then I’ve been having ibs like symptoms my doctors tell me I’m fine and it’s “post infectious ibs” I’m just confused as I haven’t had these issues before I thought ibs involves urgency to go to the TOLIET? I can’t eat much and I get bad trapped gas and bloating but no urgency I still go once a day same time but my main area of pain and trapped gas and bloating is my lower right side everywhere else doesn’t usually hurt? Anyone else get this?!?!
