Persistent Lower Abdominal Pain – Seeking Others with Similar Experiences

I’ve been experiencing persistent lower abdominal pain for several years. It started after a period of very intense, heavy exercise.

Pain characteristics:

Often begins as a feeling of hunger. Eating sometimes reduces the pain, and occasionally I force myself to eat more to help it subside.

Burning and stabbing sensations in the lower abdomen

Pain moves around unpredictably

Can wake me up at night

Sometimes disappears spontaneously after a few hours

Occasionally so intense that sleep is impossible

Pain sometimes comes and goes without an apparent reason

No diarrhea, no bowel movement problems, no other digestive issues

Triggers and relief:

Worsened by milk, spicy foods, and citrus

Sometimes relieved by red meat, hot water, or heat therapy

Tests:

Endoscopy: Normal

Blood tests: All normal

Doctors: “Nothing shows”
