IBS constipation and urination
When I am constipated with IBS, before a BM, I seem to urinate more: anyone else? My whole abdominal are seems to stressed!
I am currently going through the same thing now.

Yes, I have found that can happen with constipation. I have IBS D but very occasionally can get constipated for a day or two, and I do find I urinate more on those days.
That used to happen even before I had IBS. If ever I was a bit constipated I would pee more that day.
I don't know why that happens, but I always used to think it was a natural kind of thing to flush out toxins more as the bowels hadn't done that job. (those were my thoughts before IBS!!)
But maybe it can also be the other way around, and excessive peeing could cause dehydration which would make constipation worse?I noticed if I use Imodium I sometimes have to pee a bit more but lean toward constipation since I started using ozempic. Don’t notice peeing more otherwise
Hmmm that's good informatoin, thank you for shaing. I don't think we have much information about IBS and Ozempic together. Did you find that it affected your IBS a lot? Keep on keepin' on, DPM
