Cute once and for all

Hello All

I posted last year. I do not have IBS any more after 10 years of food map and nights shades and fiber and no coffee and no alcohol and no life. Please look into the carnivore diet. If you decide you
would rather not try it, that's fine. But at least you made a decision. For many here , it will change your life. I eat eggs and beef and chicken and fish and bacon and butter and lots of salt and water. No fruit, no vegetables and no grains or any carbs. I'm over a year in and feel the better than I have in 30 years. Not sure if posting rules but I would start with Dr Anthony Chaffee, Dr Ken Berry, Dr Bikman. Even Bobby Kennedy is on it. Secretary of health in USA. Good luck all.

  1. I have heard the carnivore diet can help some people with IBS. But I have always found it difficult to "get my head" round it. Personally I can partly understand why a low fibre diet might help some people, as the only way I found (at first) to lessen my symptoms was to eat a lower amount of fibre. I know that isn't for everyone by the way.

But on a carnivore diet, how do you get the vitamins, minerals, polyphenols etc, that vegetables and fruits have? I can't eat fruit right now, but I do eat veggies. I am sure my ability to be happy eating watercress, green beans etc has stopped me getting scurvy for example!

I am genuinely curious about how you don't get nutrient deficiencies on the carnivore diet?

Please read our rules before posting.
