Hey! Anyone know if the gym helps with symptoms or helps regulate movements, thanks ❤️❤️

Hi
While we wait for other community members to share their experiences with you, I have found a couple of interesting articles that I wanted to share.
For example, several of our advocates have found that swimming helps with their IBS symptoms: 1) https://irritablebowelsyndrome.net/living/swimming-ease-constipation, 2) https://irritablebowelsyndrome.net/living/swim-tummy-troubles-away, 3) https://irritablebowelsyndrome.net/living/wonders-of-water. It might also help with constipation.
Yoga also seems to be pretty popular in our community: https://irritablebowelsyndrome.net/living/yoga-for-ibs. I personally love yoga for IBS.
If you're interested, here is an article I wrote about my personal experience with exercising and IBS-D: https://irritablebowelsyndrome.net/living/exercise-types. And a similar one from another patient leader: https://irritablebowelsyndrome.net/living/physical-activities-help-ibs-symptoms. I hope this helps!

I really don’t know if it helps. I go regularly to the gym but I seldom have attacks now because I only eat before bedtime. I eat only glucose tablets or tiny pieces of chocolate during the day. My intestine likes to do the digesting while I’m asleep. I got so sick of being taken short during the day that I was compelled to take drastic measures. I think keeping your body fit has to be a good thing though.

How could it not? Anything that relieves the stress of BM dread has to be a good thing. My IBS-D - mostly gone now - precluded my modest 30 min. workouts when they prompted toilet breaks. Disgusted I gave up. Fasting and iron determination allowed me to resume. I'm now adding moves to regain lost strength and flexibility. Every second day pretty much. I attribute my success to Holosync, Learning Strategies, Mindtrax, etc. recordings to assist meditation. I've been doing it for mths now and feel HUGELY better. Everything feels better now. Everything. The idea is to get the unconscious actively working behind the scenes. I now pray with new confidence imagining the best result already happening. My son seeking help with anxiety found this stuff and now we're all listening to paraliminals and making wonderful progress. I am no genius so if I can do it anyone can.
It's so liberating to be pharma-free and thriving.
I would encourage everyone to research all prescription drugs you take for side fx. How I found out my asthma puffers were linked to stomach trouble.
