Does anyone experience uncontrollable gas/odor?
Hi, I was diagnosed with IBS 5 months ago. The worst symptom I got is uncontrollable gas. Doctors said that this may be my own hallucination?! I haven't found any article here where this is mentioned as a symptom. I am even not sure if this is uncontrollable gas or just a bad odor from undigested food. I really don't want to underestimate other symptoms, I experience some like abdominal pain and bowel movements but to me nothing is that embarrassing. This totally ruins my social life, work, not to mention relationships. Please give any advice. Does anyone else suffer from this symptom? Thank you!

Once I was diagnosed I finally decided to break up. I feel calmer now and intent to fight agains this syndrome. I really hope getting rid of this is achievable given the circumstances although it is believed IBS is incurable.
