Any tips on what over the counter drugs to help alleviate ibs-d?

  1. Hi, - Thanks for submitting your question. It can definitely be a challenge to find a treatment helps manage IBS-D, especially given the fact that each person with IBS responds differently. While we can't provide you any medical advice for your safety, we do have this article that talks about some of the common treatment options for IBS: https://irritablebowelsyndrome.net/medications/. If you haven't already, we'd encourage you to work with your health care provider on the best treatment course for you. Take care! - Chris, IrritableBowelSyndrome.net Team

    1. I have had great results with a CBD vaporizer, IBGARD, and CBD orally.... all available over the counter where I live.

      1. Immodium otc and Holosync mind control. Hypnosis.com has a great recording FREE for IBS.

      2. I'm not sure where you're located, but you could just google where to buy CBD. Where I live, we have special CBD stores and I think pharmacies sell it as well (I'm not sure, as I've never bought it). As for IBgard, I've found it an Amazon as well. I hope this helps. Karina (team member)

    2. Saccharomyces boulardii. It's a yeast probiotic that's been used for decades to treat traveler's diarrhea and pediatric diarrhea. Just as effective as Immodium, but S. boulardii also helps hinder bad gut flora and performs other good deeds besides. It's the active ingredient in Florastor, but that costs $45. A bottle of NOW brand Saccharomyces boulardii costs $10.84.
