Doctor says ibs
Hi to all,
I was awake all last night with urgent diorheea was up all night not great when you have Just put new carpets down good job I got their in time.
I am really annoyed I have had ibs constipation since 2013 and all they have done is give me meds it's not good enough I've read on other ibs forums that someone having pain & diorhhea it was actually bowel cancer which is scarring me as they havnt done any other tests I am waiting to see a colorectal surgeon when I was born I was very premature under 1lb so as far as I am concerned it could be anything.
Very Stressfull to say the least.
My bowel movements not intact.
Contents don't stay inside bowel injury giving birth I was told when I had a bowel scope.

So sorry you are going through this. I would ask your doctor to perform a colonoscopy with biopsy. Also some blood work and a stool test. Try eating a banana before bed. That helps decrease the diarrhea. Hoping some of this helps. Hugs, Elizabeth (team member)

No ive not had any further tests done I have emailed hospital about my chlostomy operation not heard anything yet.
What other tests can they do I don't know.
The only thing that has helped a bit is Fibre complex from health food shop.
I hate taking medication because I have so much to take.

Like Elizabeth said, they usually do stool tests and blood work to check for infections and other possible illnesses. I'd definitely ask for those if you haven't done them yet. I really hope that you'll get some answers soon. Sending hugs, Karina (team member)
