Urinary tract infections
Hi! I’ve gotten sone relief since my Dr called in dicyclomine but I had such bad diarrhea last week one day (stress induced) that I got dehydrated and the next thing I knew, I had a urinary tract infection. On my second round of antibiotics. Is this common? Any advice?
I'm so sorry you're dealing with that and have to take antibiotics again. There can be a connection between IBS and bladder problems, we have an article about it here: https://irritablebowelsyndrome.net/clinical/bladder-problems. However, I'm not sure if there's a link between just a normal UTI and IBS. I know people who get those very often, but they don't have IBS... Has this happened to you before, or is it just this one time?
