I hope everything will work out fine anyway. This is what I would do: I would personally only eat very safe foods the day before (for me, this is white rice and chicken) and avoid eating much during the weekend to not take any risks. I've also taken Imodium before events in the past, like you were thinking of doing here. And stress management techniques (meditation, hypnotherapy, EFT...) also help me work through the extreme anxiety I get before trips and events. Maybe some of these could work for you as well?
