So I had this horrible IBS/SIBO(?) flare-up during october and november which I had no control over whatsoever. Luckily the symptoms weren't dirrhea-based (as they are usually with me) but my problem was instead constant bloating after meals/strange sounds in my lower intestines during meals and - of course - a general feeling of heavy discomfort.
I posted that here (this was my main reason to sign up in this Forum actually).
So after struggeling for over 2 months, going through my more hardcore managment regime (belly massage before eating/ strict meal-spacing/ avoiding trigger foods like the plague/some probiotics) and at a point where I almost gave up hope, my symptoms are now finally getting better (they are better for almost 3 weeks now). I had symptoms for over 2 months before that and I honestly don't think that anything in particulare actually worked, I believe that my entire focus on an anti-inflammation regiment did the trick.
I'm posting this to remind you and me that while some phases feel REALLY bad and like they will never end, there is always hope. Please keep on fighting, be patient with your body and keep up your spirit.
