IBS

I have to medicate every morning usually after my first run to the bathroom. Getting ready to see Dietitian for major over haul of my food. I also have low blood sugar. I hate having to leave my house and traveling is very stressful. I just want it to go away.

  1. I completely understand, and it's not pleasant at all. We can feel like prisoners in our own home. But what I hope will happen is that your dietitian will be able to help with some good suggestions for managing your diet and IBS, It may make such a difference, so it's worth going to see them. I wonder if after your first consultation, they might be able to do Zoom or Skype calls with you for appointments further down the line?
I hope your diet management works well for you. There is some hope at the moment, so stay positive as much as possible. Wishing you well.

    1. That's so tough, I'm sorry. When are you seeing your dietitian? I hope it'll help you with your symptoms. Wishing you all the best, Karina (team member)

      1. We feel you 🙁
Luckily I only tend to have some gas/normal walk to the toilet after breakfast but I know about being on a VERY limiting diet all the time. I guess that I'm better off than some other people here but it feels horrible all the same. I too struggle with every vacation (and try to avoid them overall).
Hope you get some new freedoms soon!

        1. , Aw I'm sorry you are having to put up with this. It does feel like a really unwelcome unwanted gift that's been imposed on you and you don't want anything to do with it. I hope you managed to get to the Dietician and that they were able to offer some pointers and that they were supportive x
