Hypnotherapy for IBS

Has anyone ever had success with hypnotherapy for your IBS? I saw an ad for Nerva hypnotherapy program & wondered if that might work. I'm desperate to get my symptoms under control. I had to leave my adult daughter early today due to IBS-D, MAJOR! We were supposed to have a mother/daughter day together & my stupid IBS-D reated it's ugly head & I had to go home early. Not the 1st time!! I'm so sick of this!!

  1. Ugh I'm so sorry about that. I'm sure she understood and I hope that you're feeling better now. I have not personally tried hypnotherapy but I have heard some people have success with it. I would definitely do more research and maybe speak to a psychologist or medical professional about this before you try it. But I understand your frustration-it wouldn't hurt to look more into it if you're interested. Any members have any experience with this? ~Michaela (irritablebowelsyndrome.net Team Member)
