    1. yes I've cut out dairy, gluten and caffeine since I was 14 so I dont eat anything that could trigger me, the doctors have done blood tests and stuff but apparently nothing more has come back, I might have to try the doctors again as I dont know what else to do. Thank you I was take a look at what you sent.

    2. It might be a good idea to see your doctor again to do new tests if the others were done a while back, or do additional tests if the others were recent. Have you had a colonoscopy or endoscopy?
I really hope you’ll get some answers and relief soon.

  2. Me, too! Pain everyday! It's awful. I joined a program called DietvsDisease and they focus on dietary contributions to IBS. It's a very intensive program. The important thing to focus on is eating what's called "low FODMAP foods". FODMAP foods are commonly associated with IBS. Check it out on the internet. Lots of things will pop up.

    1. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with so much pain. Is the program working for you so far? I really hope it’ll help. The Low FODMAP diet can indeed be very helpful for IBS, although it doesn’t work for everyone.

For anyone interested, we have an article about the Low FODMAP diet here: https://irritablebowelsyndrome.net/ibs-diet. -Karina (team member)

  3. My IBS-C was so bad I went to a GI doctor. He put me on Linzess. I can actually have normal looking bms a good deal. This is a first in a long time. I drink lots of water, exercise every day and eat a high protein, high fiber diet with salad every day. I eat avocados, hummus, beans, lentils most days.

    1. thank you so much for sharing what works for you! I’m so glad that you’re doing so much better on Linzess. Your diet sounds really healthy, too!
      All the best, Karina

  4. Its interesting to hear what works for others and I continue to realize everyone is different and we all need trial and error. What a horrible uncurable disease we're dealing with.

My Naturapathy doctor had me on the right path until something happened. Back to square one now and finding myself taking Hyoscyamine more often then usual.
