Does anyone else need physical support sometimes?

There are times when I cannot walk without some form of support due to loss of physical energy, and after the first few times I picked up a cane to help when these rare instances occur. Does anyone else experience this form of weakness?

  1. Hi Raed, thanks so much for reaching out! I know that many of us can relate to the loss of physical energy and weakness. For me, it seems to follow a severe food trigger, and it can take days to recuperate. I haven't personally had to resort to using a cane, but I can imagine how difficult that must have been for you. Do you feel dizzy and/or nauseated, too, when this happens? What does your doctor say about the weakness? I really hope this is a temporary situation for you.

    1. Hi Becky, thanks for responding! I tend to experience this weakness after I've been sick for a few days, but sometimes it just happens after a period of constant stress. My doctors don't quite get it, and tell me I'm just a tired college student going through trials of adulthood. Surprisingly, I am not a big fan of my doctors! I just kind of push through it, but I imagine it is surprising to my peers and professors to see me walking around with a wicked cool dragon cane.
