Hi, do you think IBS-C causes to pee multiple time a night? As bowels might push on bladder

I am not sure why being constipated increases urination. But I know that it does. If ever I have been constipated, I have passed more water in a day. I don't know if it's to do with any actual pressure on the bladder. It's as if more water is being diverted via the kidneys rather than the gut....if that makes any sense?

Hey! Yes, I believe what you are saying is very true! I have found that after diarrhea, when my bowels slow down, I urinate a lot and transparently. As if the water that was in the stool returned to the metabolism...

That's certainly a good hypothesis. How have you been feeling lately? -Elizabeth (team member)

Hey

It will. It happens to me after a year of IBS. But at first it was the use of SIMETICONA pills that caused the frequency of urination. However, this year, in May 2023 and so far, some triggers have caused a high frequency of urination. What will we be waiting for?
By the way. Using tight gym pants looks increases pressure(?)

In the last two weeks, I have experienced high frequency urination and I'm unsure about the cause. Considering my diet, it doesn't seem to be related to IBS-D or IBS-C, but I'm concerned about the health of my bladder. Despite feeling well, I do experience some discomfort every morning, without pain during urination but bowel movements
