One bathroom house Emergency solved
Our house has only 1 bathroom. My husband takes a while with his shaving, ect. in the morning. I would rush to the bathroom door and say in a pitiful little voice Coming Out Soon? Some times he was on the toilet himself and could not be rushed which led to disasters.
What cured this bathroom problem is I put in a home health care kind of a potty seat in the 'mud room", a sort of small auxiliary room out the back door. This little porta potty was a relief when I had to go immediately. It's a sort of toilet seat on a rack that has a plastic bucket under it. I line this with plastic bag then put some cat deodorizing cat box litter on it. No more urgent bathroom fiascos.

What a brilliant idea! I do like it. A liner bag plus some deodorising cat litter is a wonderful trick. I had never though of using cat litter in an "emergency potty", but it's genius! That's exactly the right thing as it's so absorbent.
And how nice it must feel not to have that horrible bathroom stress in the morning.
