Hospital and treatment is making me a little nervous
Today I got a letter through the post that the referral to see a specialist team has gone through and I should contact them if they haven't contacted me by November 10th to book an appointment...
I'm over the moon! This is great news but I can't help but feel a little hesitant about it all.
I have severe general anxiety and PTSD and doctors and hospitals can really shake me up... Can anyone who's seen specialists and had treatment in hospitals for IBS give me an idea on what they'll do? having some idea of it would ease my anxiety a little.

I don't have any personal experience to share, but maybe you could ask them on the phone what you can expect? I would suppose that they'll just go over your file and maybe give you another appointment for testing, but I live in France and things might be done differently here. Hopefully, other community members will be able to share their experiences with you!
