Low Mean platelet volume ( blood test )
Has anyone heard about having a low MPV could be cause for IBS- D ?
I haven't heard of it being the cause, but after doing a Google search, I found this study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7756523/ that found links between the two. I hope other community members will share their experiences with you soon.

Maybe the low mean platelet volume is caused by the IBS instead of the other way around? I haven't read the study yet but just throwing that out there.
