I personally haven't tried it, but I know people have done so successfully. That being said, lactose pills shouldn't always be the go-to. I've personally found that cutting down on the amount of dairy I'm eating in general has helped immensely. Lactose intolerance and IBS can go hand-in-hand. The dairy I do eat I try to make sure it's good quality and less processed. That helps as well, especially when I want cheese and ice cream haha. Better quality lessens the effects it has in my body later. I highly encourage you to speak to a doctor or nutritionist about this! Dairy can be tricky to navigate, but you don't necessarily have to cut it out completely. I hope this helps! Best wishes, Michaela (irritablebowelsyndrome.net Team Member)
