Is this normal ?
40yr old male. Think I've had IBS most of my life. Never been "normal" really. I've had 2 colonoscopys over the past 2 years which have thankfully come back normal. This past month I've not gone for 2 days then had a bad belly on day 3. During the 2 days of not going all I get is like wet mucas in my back passage (sorry people). Is this normal for anyone else. I just want some reassurance really
I'm so sorry that you have been suffering for so long.

However, I would still suggest mentioning it to your doctor, just to be sure that there's nothing else going on.

No need to apologize! This is a safe space and we're here for you and your terminology! Normal is pretty relative, but butt mucus is something that I know many others have experienced in their own lives.
