In bed every day

Hi, I'm writing to people here who are like me..in bed almost every day these days.
It's difficult to tell if it's my IBS or my fibromyalgia or something else but it's a feeling of not wanting to move.
Does anyone else have this?

  1. I'm so sorry that you're feeling like this, that's hard. I definitely get this sometimes, especially when my IBS is flaring or after a flare or stressful period. I hope you'll start feeling better soon. All the best, Karina (team member)

    1. Dear Karina, Thank you for your concern. Today, I awoke feeling stronger. I have managed to take a bath and to vacuum my bedroom! I have spoken to a health worker on phone and I am doing well now! I am going to sleep earlier. This is superbly beneficial. I have now got a weighted blanket 5kg and it's great. I have worked out that all my illnesses are caused by life stress. Now I have worked that one out, I will continue to get myself even better in health-mind and body! Eviedog

      1. I'm so glad that you're feeling better today! Stress can cause so many issues, it's the same for me. Getting more sleep is really helpful. Do you have any other stress management techniques that work well for you? Karina (team member)

    2. Dear Karina,
I think that it is a good idea to consider the need for nine hours of sleep! There was a saying at university- as for sleep- every hour you get before midnight is worth two hours after midnight!
Water is important- 4 pints a day.
      Don't eat after 6 pm.
Have a large breakfast, a good lunch and a small dinner.
Plan your diary to avoid stress. I avoid groups of strangers!
Find a scent such as a perfume or an essential oil that makes you connect to yourself and that you recognise as your own identity. Mine is La nuit tresor by Lancome!
Find a person who is ready, willing and able to help in a practical way everyday.
Increase your income by any way you can.
Build a hobby and aim to make an income from it.
Go out to favourite places that do not cause stress. My favourite is National Trust treasure houses!
Be careful who you allow to become a friend-it takes a couple of years to get to know someone.
Develop the skill of being gentle to yourself.
Those are some of my gentle recommendations to myself. I hope you find it interesting, Karina.
      Please let me know!
      Kind regards,
      Evie dog UK

      1. You are so sweet and I appreciate your concern. Hugs back at ya, Elizabeth (team member)

      2. Oh no, that sounds terrible, I'm so sorry. Are you feeling any better today? The Fibromyalgia support group sounds great, I really hope that I'll help you deal with the illness! It's very possible that there's a connection between the different illnesses, it would make sense as your body functions as a whole. Sending big hugs, Karina (team member)

    3. Also, as my GP says....eat a good diet and take your medication! Evie dog in UK x
