IBS diagnosed 30 years ago now 45. No pain with the last 2 months bout but awful flatulence so embarrassing and constant. Diarrhoea is terrible. Back on gluten and wheat free plus taken out lactose but no end to it this time. What's next?

I would like to start by saying that I'm glad you have been pain free for the last two months. That's really great. I think you are on the right track with a GFCF (gluten free, casein free) diet. As for what's next, I would consult my doctor for ideas, if you haven't done so already. That said, IBS is such a trial and error illness. It is hard to manage, and I believe a lot of the best decisions regarding our own treatment come from our self-awareness and understanding of our own bodies. Please keep us in the loop and let us know how you are doing. We are here for support. I hope you are having a good day today. -Todd, IrritableBowelSyndrome.net Team

    1. Hello Healther! How have you been feeling as of late? Personally, for me, I take Imodium to help with my gas. It has drastically helped my stomach process and keep my toots silent and not deadly. Thank you so much for sharing with us and I hope you're having a lovely day as of late. ~ Sawyer (team member)
