About 4 months ago I did a colonoscopy and endoscopy. My doctor found a high level of eosinophil on my small intestine and told me that I have eosinophilic enteritis caused by food intolerance and that high level of eosinophil cause the intestine to flare up resulting to IBS. Is it true that IBS can be caused by that? How do i know that I don’t have IBD? I also tested my fecal calprotectin and the result was 1883 which is high but I don’t have any stomach ache or feel bloated at all. Is it ok for the calprotectin to be that high? Thanks.
