Chronic diarrhea

I was diagnosed with IBS and went on the fodmap diet. My gall bladder had been removed so I had to limit fat in my diet. My local gastroenterologist could not really help me so I went to Cleveland clinic, quite far away. The 3rd gastroenterologist I saw there solved my problem. My pancreas was not working very well. He gave me Zenpap which is an enzyme which I take 3 times per day, with each meal, and my diarrhea is gone.

  1. What a journey! It seems like it's paid off though! I'm so glad that you've been able to find relief and that you've found a doctor that actually helps! That in of itself can be half the struggle. I hope you continue to do well and thank you for sharing! All the best,

    1. I am sorry to hear that you have chronic diarrhea. You are the first person I have talked to who got IBS after having their gall bladder removed. I had that happen to & it really sent my health into a dive. Out of curiosity, and you totally don't have to answer, but did you get other health issues/diseases pop up after your gall bladder was removed?
