Missing Out on Life

My IBS has been getting much worse with flare ups more often. In my 70s now and I find it hard to make plans. Last week I was going out of state to watch my grandson play golf in an important tournament and at the last minute my IBS kept from making that trip.

There have been many other family and friend events I've been forced to miss.

After trying different probiotics and remedies, I'm now trying meditation and exercise. My diet just recently restricted sugar and spicy foods. Nothing has worked well enough to feel good about being away from home more than one night.

In what should be the best years of my life have been pretty much home bound. No, I'm not feeling sorry for myself. There are many things I enjoy doing such as reading, listening to music, crossword puzzles, watching old movies, walking around my neighborhood and gardening.

I'm open to trying any other solutions and remedies that have worked for others. People who have not experienced IBS do not understand how debilitating it can be. I want my life back.
