  • 1 English cucumber
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • ¼ tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp hemp hearts

Directions for simple cucumber ribbon salad

  1. Remove ends from cucumber. Chop cucumber into a 10- to 12-inch segment.
  2. With vegetable peeler, slice cucumber lengthwise. With paper towel, gently remove excess water from slices.
  3. In a small bowl, combine rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and maple syrup. Mix until fully combined.
  4. Dress salad. Serve with optional toppings.
