Being anxious can make my IBS symptoms worse and worsening symptoms can make my anxiety worse! It’s a no win situation! I find that managing these feelings is an ongoing process and some things I do regularly include yoga, walking in nature, meditation and taking a bath. Plus sites like this can help remind me that I’m not the only one going through this, so I often check in to the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ibsdotnet/ and see what others are experiencing and it helps me feel more connected and gives me the strength to carry on.
