MISERABLE

51 years old. Stomach issues for as long as I can remember. Had an endoscopy on 2012 where I was told I had gastritis. In April of this year, I was getting ready for bed and got a sudden and urgent urge to go to the bathroom. I ran in and woke up on the floor.

Poked and prodded

Since then I have had constant stomach and chest pains due to gas, stomach aches, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, dizziness, and have almost passed out at least 4 more times, once sending me to the hospital. I have been poked and prodded by more doctors, have had my heart and brain cleared, a clean colonoscopy, and more blood work than ever. I have missed work and so much time laying in bed sick to my stomach.

More flares than ever

My sister who is an MD feels I may have IBS. My gastroenterologist just shrugs his shoulders and says, it's functional, there's nothing physically wrong with you. I seriously am at the end of my rope. I don't know what to do anymore. Each and every day is filled with flatulence and discomfort and when it flares which has been more lately than ever. I end up passing out from the anxiety. Life has become bleak and frightening for me. I don't know what to do.
