My IBS Experience with Different Treatments

I have had IBS for over 7 years. I underwent many, many tests and the outcome was that I have IBS, small hiatus hernia, and a very sensitive stomach.

I have been suffering every day, resulting in my passing out with 5 hospital admissions. All this started 2 years after having my gallbladder removed.

I have a gastroenterologists consult, had a second opinion, and followed low-fodmop diet, taken simprove and many other pre/probiotics. You name it, I have tried it.

6 months ago, I moved, so I changed doctors, who prescribed me Fexofenadine 120mg, taking one each night before bed. Apparently, a trial has been carried out on people for 12 weeks and has had remarkable results. The med is Antistimine. I also do daily online hypnosis, which is amazing. Just go to Free Online Hypnosis youtube by Jane Corner.

I am still under the trial period with Fexofenadine for a further 6 weeks, but up to now has reduced my symptoms by 80%. I no longer have days just in bed, but I am more motivated. My gastroenterologists never at any point suggested taking Fexofenadine or hypnosis.

Just wanted to share my story and other treatments that are available if you wanted to try them.
Fingers crossed. Thank you for listening.

This is my story.
