I am using this to ask a question of the community.
Has anyone ever tried essential oils.
I am in such pain! 9 dr apt X-rays ct scan. An unresponsive GI dr.
What can I do? I am taking peppermint oil and some of these meds dr gave me nothing works. Hurt so bad yesterday was going to ER but what would they do? I follow low FODMap diet.
Any suggestions to stop the pain

Hi Anniebell IBS pain can be so awful and I'm sorry to hear that you are having a rough time with it. When my IBS is flaring up I always get abdominal pain and it can be really frustrating especially when I'm trying to do all the right things. It was a gradual process for me to ease the daily pain and there was no one easy fix, it was a combination of things including the low FODMAP diet, gentle exercise, reducing stress, herbal medicine and probiotics. Dana has provided some links to other good resources on the site and if your current doctors aren't helping, it may be worthwhile seeing someone else, as it took me a while to find the right people to help me.
