Can IBS make your mouth taste horrible?
In March 2020, I suddenly developed a terrible, bitter taste in my mouth. It plagues me 24/7 and has not improved. Two months later, in May 2020, I was diagnosed with IBS.

Can IBS cause a bitter taste in the mouth? I have searched and searched and cannot find that mentioned as a symptom, but I think it must be causing my horrible mouth taste, as nothing else my doctor and I have examined (medications, dry mouth, food sensitivities, etc.) seems to be a problem for me.
Has anyone else suffered with this, and if so, what did you do about it? It is ruining my quality of life. I can barely force myself to eat and have lost almost 50 pounds.
