Glenda is a Registered Nutritionist, neuroscientist, wellness coach and educator who helps people with Irritable Bowel Syndrome to live a less irritable life.
Glenda was diagnosed with IBS 25 years ago and understands the day-to-day challenges that IBS creates. She has extensive experience in managing food intolerances and follows the low FODMAP diet to keep her IBS under control. Glenda actively uses exercise, stress management, and other calming and mindfulness techniques to decrease the frequency of her IBS flares and to promote ongoing physical and mental wellness.
Glenda’s qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in biomedical science, a Master of Human Nutrition, a PhD in neuroscience, and certificates in Wellness Coaching and Fitness. She has previously worked as university lecturer and scientific researcher at Monash University and now has her own practice, A Less Irritable Life, where she specializes in IBS and FODMAPs.
On her blog, Glenda regularly shares practical and fuss-free strategies for managing IBS and simplifying a low FODMAP diet.
