Same foods, Different Symptoms

I was diagnosed with IBS D & C in 2017, even though I had issues way before that. I alternate back and forth. I have tried pretty much every diet known to man. Now I just try and stay away from sugar and greasy foods, because those always make me ill. As far as all other foods, I can eat let's say baked chicked on Monday and be fine. I can eat the baked chicken the next day and get sick. So strange. I think with some of us it's not just the foods we eat, it's other factors.

  1. @Roxzilla,

You couldn't be more right. There are so many factors that contribute to our individual responses to this illness. I have experiencedx the same things as you have with the diet/food. Works great one day, next day I'm sick as sick can be. It took me a long time to learn to balance the food, medication, exercise and meditation practices that I feel, at very least, help me manage the illness. Thank you so much for sharing and I hope you are well today. -Todd, IrritableBowelSyndrome.net Team

    1. Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it Todd! I hope you are well today also. It's good to know I'm not alone in this, even though of course I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I am going to definitely try the meditation, thank you! I also find keeping stress levels as low-when possible-helps a lot as well 😀

  2. I run a Facebook page dedicated to figuring out this horrible disease. We regularly have medical experts weigh in for Q&A. Come join the discussion. Search for 'IBS & Gastritis Stories, Support and Solutions.' Pink and blue photo. See you there.
