back pain?

I have been dealing with IBS-D for years, and always have my emergency supplies, including Imodium with me. A new symptom of severe, stabbing back pain in the lower right side of my back has me concerned. I am seeing the Dr. today b/c it occurs for about an hour b4 I have a bowel movement and then it is gone until the next morning. Has anyone heard of this- it has to be related to my IBS somehow.
