Strawberry Smoothie

Here’s a great strawberry smoothie recipe for IBS-D sufferers! For many IBS-D patients, like myself, we suffer from not getting the proper nutrients into our bodies due to poor digestion. When we convert solid fruits and vegetables into a smoothie, then it allows us to properly digest the food and nutrients into our system. Try this delicious recipe out and enjoy!

Servings: 1-2

Ingredients for strawberry smoothie:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of frozen mangoes
  • 1 cup of chopped spinach
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • ½ cup of coconut water
  • Coconut nectar to taste
  • 1 cup of ice

Directions for strawberry smoothie:

  1. Add liquids first
  2. Then add banana
  3. Then add the rest of the ingredients, except the coconut nectar
  4. Blend until well combined
  5. Then add the coconut nectar to taste and the ice, then blend some more until combined
  6. Serve and enjoy!
