Here’s a great Strawberry Smoothie Recipe for IBS-D sufferers! For many IBS-D patients, like myself, we suffer from not getting the proper nutrients into our bodies due to poor digestion. When we convert solid fruits and vegetables into a smoothie, then it allows us to properly digest the food and nutrients into our system. Try this delicious recipe out and enjoy!
Ingredients for strawberry smoothie
- 1 banana
- 1 cup of strawberries
- 1 cup of frozen mangoes
- 1 cup of chopped spinach
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- ½ cup of coconut water
- Coconut nectar to taste
- 1 cup of ice
Directions for strawberry smoothie
- Add liquids first
- Then add banana
- Then add the rest of the ingredients, except the coconut nectar
- Blend until well combined
- Then add the coconut nectar to taste and the ice, then blend some more until combined
- Serve and enjoy!
