Strawberries and Chocolate Sauce

Strawberries and Chocolate Sauce

This is one of my favorite little sweet treats. It also works well with banana and other fruits too. It’s also a nice treat to take in a lunchbox.

The serving size is suitable if you’re on the low FODMAP diet and is in line with the Monash Low FODMAP Diet app and the FODMAP Friendly app (at the time of writing).

Servings: 2

Ingredients for strawberries and chocolate sauce

  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 1 tbs tahini
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2-4 tsp water
  • 1 tbs shredded coconut
  • Sprinkle of salt

Directions for strawberries and chocolate sauce

  1. Mix the tahini, cacao, maple syrup and salt in a small dish and add the water 1 teaspoon at a time until you reach your preferred consistency
  2. Top the strawberries with the chocolate sauce and coconut and enjoy!
