I am Not a Victim

Contributor and Patient Advocate, Hess Polanco, uses spoken word to cope with his IBS. In this video, he shares a piece with us and it is about him recognizing the daily struggles with this invisible illness, but also realizing that he's not the only one who suffers from it. With this realization, he no longer sees himself as a victim, but as a mentor to those who also suffer from IBS.
