Food intolerance testing

I have been suffering badly for the last 6 years. You name the symptom I had it, you name the drug, I tried it...blah blah blah. I don't usually post things on forums but this I have to. About 6 weeks ago, at the suggestion of my GP, I had a blood test done that would check my intolerances to 200+ different foods. This has been a game changer! Bummer is that I have major intolerances to over 40 of the foods tested. Some worse than others of course. So I eliminated all those from my diet. Has it been easy....hell no! It's easier for me to produce a list of foods that are OK versus not but the highlights are; Milk, eggs, potatoes, peas, yeast(brewers and bakers),barley,gluten.....the list goes on. But, has it cured the IBS? I would have to say by at least 75%. I believe other factors are now affecting me such as stress and anxiety. On a side note and a MAJOR bonus to this is that my migraines have reduced by over 50% as well!!! I know people will say there is no science behind these blood tests and yadda yadda yadda...but whatever.....it's worked for me so I think you would be crazy not to do it. It was $375 Canadian here where I live so not sure anywhere else......best freaking money I ever spent. Oh, and I am off all medications. I was taking Dicetel 100mg 3 times a day and Amitriptyline 100mg once a day. At least look into it.
